Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable Local CDL‑A Delivery Truck Driver to safely and efficiently operate a tractor‑trailer and manually unload/deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Local routes allow you to get home daily, with base pay up to $40.10 per hour plus OT and incentives;

Qualifications

• CDL-A with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift and move products weighing 40–100 pounds, with occasional heavier loads.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer on local routes and unload/deliver products to customer locations.
• Interacts with customers professionally and builds routine customer relationships.
• Adheres to route schedule and safety policies.

Job Summary:

Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable Local CDL‑A Delivery Truck Driver to safely and efficiently operate a tractor‑trailer and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our truck drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• 21+ years of age
• Must submit to a pre‑employment drug screen
• License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Touch freight – may need to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40‑60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds
• Flexibility – overtime as required, Saturday and Holiday availability is required

Preferred Requirements:

• 1 year of customer delivery experience
• 6 months of hand cart/hand truck experience
• 6 months of food and beverage experience
• 2 years of consistent work history
