Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable Local CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our truck drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Base pay starts at $32.30 per hour plus OT and incentives, and Sysco provides 100% employer-paid family

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• License to drive - valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to lift 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds during unloading.
• Overtime and weekend availability as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver products to customer locations on a route.
• Build relationships with customers using a positive, friendly attitude.
• Become familiar with customer operations to meet needs and expectations.
• Maintain compliance with safety and company policies.

Job Summary:

Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable Local CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our truck drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• 21+ years of age
• Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
• License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Touch freight – may need to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds
• Flexibility – overtime as required, Saturday and Holiday availability is required

Preferred Requirements:

• 1 year of customer delivery experience
• 6 months of hand cart/hand truck experience
• 6 months of food and beverage experience
• 2 years of consistent work history
