Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Miami, FL is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to build relationships with customers while delivering food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day.

You will unload up to 100 lbs, use a ramp and two-wheeled hand truck, and must pass a drug test and DOT background checks. Newly licensed drivers are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and hold a CDL A license at hire.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and operate a two-wheel cart up to 350 lbs.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English and pass a drug test.
• Clean driving record and DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely and on time to customers including restaurants and institutions.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and communicate issues to management.
• Operate delivery equipment and perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Complete daily paperwork and ensure proper cash handling when required.
