Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Bulk Driver in Granite City, IL to deliver ammonia products on a scheduled local route and ensure accurate load manifests. Safety and professional conduct are essential as you perform pre/post-trip inspections and support loading/unloading.

The position requires a Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements, at least 2 years CMV experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years old or older.
• CDL A with at least 2 years CMV experience within the last 4 years; tanker/hazmat endorsements required before hire.
• Graduation from an accredited truck driving school counts as 1 year of experience.
• No preventable accidents in last 3 years.
• No more than 2 minor tickets in last 3 years.
• No serious violations in last 3 years (speeding 15+; reckless driving, etc.).
• No CDL suspensions in last 3 years except for child support.
• No DUI in last 7 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to local customers on a scheduled route or intermittently.
• Record deliveries and pickups on load manifests and obtain signatures.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document deficiencies; maintain vehicle appearance.
• Support loading/unloading and safety procedures for hazardous materials.
