Airgas in Lyons, NY is hiring a Bulk Tanker Driver to deliver ammonia products on a scheduled route with 1–3 stops per day across NY, VT, PA and Canada. The role requires a Class A CDL with tanker/hazmat endorsements, 2+ years CMV experience, and the ability to lift 60 lbs.

Formación

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Class A CDL with at least 2 years CMV experience within the last 4 years; tanker/hazmat endorsements required before hire date.
• Graduation from an accredited truck driving school with a diploma will count as 1 year of the required experience.
• No preventable accidents of any kind in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 minor tickets in the previous 3 years.
• No serious violation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc.) in the previous 3 years.
• No suspensions of CDL in the previous 3 years except for "Failure to pay child support."
• No DUI in the last 7 years.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs. or more
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passport/Enhanced License for Trips into Canada

Responsabilidades

• Deliver products to local customers on a scheduled route or intermittently.
• Record deliveries and pickups on load manifest and obtain signatures.
• Resolve service inquiries and complaints.
• Engage in loading/unloading truck procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and document deficiencies.
• Maintain neat, clean, professional appearance and vehicle appearance.
• Safely perform SOPs related to Anhydrous Ammonia/Ammonium Hydroxide handling.
• Communicate SOPs in person with customers.
• Maintain load manifests and other documents accurately.
• Ensure safety rules are observed.
• Maintain required licenses/endorsements and MSDS literacy.
• Operate in a drug-free workplace and work overtime when needed.
• Some overnight stays may be required.
