Job summary

Airgas, Inc. in Concord, NC seeks a Bulk Driver to be responsible for daily local routes, delivering ammonia products on a schedule with 2-3 stops per day. CDL A with tanker/Hazmat endorsements is required. Expect 50–60 hours/week and overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• At least 25 years old.
• Class A CDL with 2+ years CMV experience (within last 4 years). Tanker/Hazmat endorsements required before hire date.
• Graduation from an accredited truck driving school counts as 1 year of required experience.
• No preventable accidents in last 3 years.
• No more than 2 minor tickets in last 3 years.
• No serious violations in last 3 years.
• No CDL suspensions in last 3 years except for child support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to local customers on scheduled routes or intermittently.
• Record deliveries and pickups on load manifests and obtain customer signatures.
• Load/unload procedures and safety inspections.
• Maintain load manifests and vehicle documents; ensure accuracy before/after deliveries.
• Operate safely and observe all safety rules; drive hazardous cargo up to 8 hours.
