Job summary

gategroup is seeking motivated Local CDL Truck Drivers in the Newark, NJ area to load galley equipment, drive to aircraft, and unload at destination. The role requires CDL Class A or B and a valid U.S. license, with an emphasis on safety and compliance with procedures.

Starting rate is $28.50/hour with a $1,250 sign-on bonus paid after 90 days. Flexible schedules may include weekends and holidays, and overtime may be required based on demand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Current U.S. driver's license required.
• CDL Class A or B for local routes and airports.

Responsibilities

• Load equipment onto the truck according to guidelines.
• Drive to aircraft at the local airport and unload equipment.
• Load galleys and unload dirty equipment per safety rules.
• Interact with airline representatives at the aircraft.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
• Complete paperwork and related administrative duties.
