DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Local Catering Sales Manager to join our team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for growing sales through developing existing business and soliciting new business through lead generation and marketing, all while ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and spearhead outbound sales strategies to achieve growth targets in specific regions across the country where CRISP & GREEN is located.
- Solicit new catering customers through traditional and non-traditional sales techniques
- Generate revenue by establishing new accounts and booking repeat business while keeping quality consistently high
- Perform all phases of sales activities for the service area, including cold calls, follow-up calls, analysis of client needs, presentations of services, service existing customer accounts, and follow-up, as necessary
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales metrics, strategies, and forecasts
- Manage business relationships to drive strategic growth objectives
- Develop relationships with General Managers to help execute Catering orders in-store
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly
- Report to and work closely with with Catering Director to understand KPI’s and create short and long term strategic plans to hit expectations
- Be willing to step in to perform all duties required to produce a successful catering order execution, which may include setup, delivery, outreach, and training of restaurant teams
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited 4-year College or University preferred; a major in sales, marketing, business, and/or communications preferred, but not required
- At least 2 years catering sales experience
- A professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Knowledge of market trends and competition
- Experience in fine dining or catering services
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Previous experience in business-to-business and business-to-customer Restaurant Off-Premise Sales or Hospitality Industries
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment
