Job summary

SRS Building Products in Hatboro, PA seeks a Non-CDL Driver to ensure safe, timely deliveries of building materials to job sites. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, verify inventory, and load/unload materials, using forklifts as needed. You will engage customers on-site and document deliveries for transparency.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to DOT requirements, and strong communication with the branch team to maintain efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old (18 minimum for employment).
• Valid non-CDL driver’s license with a clean record (no DUIs in 3 years, no suspensions in 5 years, max 2 violations/accidents in 18 months).
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify required).
• Screenings: Must pass a drug test, background check, and hold a current DOT medical card (for vehicles 10,001 lbs+).

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials safely and on time to job sites following route plans.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs.
• Verify inventory and assist with loading/unloading; ensure correct quantities.
• Operate forklifts safely for loading/unloading; maintain material integrity.
• Provide on-site customer service and address questions with courtesy.
• Document deliveries and communicate with managers to resolve issues promptly.
