Job summary

Star Lumber is currently hiring Delivery Drivers to join our team. If you have a clean driving record and a passion for customer service, we want to hear from you! As a Delivery Driver at Star Lumber, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive the materials needed in a safe and timely manner.

You will complete deliveries, load and unload at stores and jobsites, keep logs of stops, and follow DOT safety policies and requirements. Bi-Weekly Pay, PTO, benefits and more are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A, B, or C driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements and obtain a DOT medical card.
• Must be eligible for interstate driving.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Physical capability to lift 50 lbs and push or pull 100 lbs frequently to facilitate loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials in and around the Wichita area, including lumber, siding, windows, doors and more.
• Properly load and unload materials at store and customer jobsites.
• Keep accurate logs of delivery stops.
• Follow all DOT safety policies and requirements.
