Job summary

Star Lumber is seeking a Class A/B CDL Delivery Driver to join our team in Edmond, OK. This position is local and you will be home every night, operating a tractor-trailer to deliver building materials to customers.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, loading/unloading with forklifts and moffetts, DOT time logs, and coordinating with warehouse staff. Requirements include a CDL, 2+ years experience, safety and customer service orientation.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A/B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL driver, preferably with experience in the transportation of building materials.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment, including forklifts and moffetts.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials and perform manual labor as needed.
• A positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and willingness to go the extra mile to satisfy customers.
