Job summary

CTDI is hiring a Non-CDL Truck Driver for local deliveries in New Jersey. The role features a 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with 40–50 hours per week and 0–10 hours of overtime.

Pay starts at an unspecified rate, with weekly pay every Thursday and a comprehensive benefits package. The candidate will drive a small box truck, ensure cargo is secured, complete required paperwork, and adhere to DOT and warehouse safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent commercial delivery-driving experience or willingness to complete training program.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable, adaptable, and dependable.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the truck before and after trips.
• Complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel logs, daily logs, bills of lading, trip records, and expense reports.
• Ensure all cargo is loaded, checked, and secured during transit.
• Assist with loading/unloading cargo to ensure secure transit.
• Obtain signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• Monitor truck maintenance and repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional communication.
• Follow all DOT and warehouse safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
