Job summary

Maersk is hiring a Box Truck Driver to safely operate a box truck for local and regional deliveries. The role includes loading/unloading cargo, performing vehicle inspections, and maintaining delivery records with professional customer service.

Qualified candidates will have a valid REAL ID driver’s license, prior box truck experience, and the ability to read maps and use navigation tools. English proficiency and the ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Valid REAL ID driver's license with clean driving record.
• Prior box truck or delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to read maps and use navigation tools.
• Accurate completion of delivery documentation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must speak, read, write English.
• Able to pass Federal background checks for access to Gov’t facilities.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and load/unload cargo.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck on local and regional routes.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent movement or damage.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff.
• Verify orders and delivery quantities before completing deliveries.
• Assist with warehouse or loading duties when required.
