Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Box Truck Driver to safely operate a box truck for local deliveries, including home deliveries and white-glove service. You will load, secure, and unload cargo, complete delivery documentation, and provide professional customer service on a daily route schedule.

The role requires a valid REAL ID driver’s license, basic route navigation, and the ability to pass background checks. Working hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with potential OT and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (REAL ID) and acceptable driving record.
• Delivery or box truck or commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to read maps and use navigation tools.
• Accurate completion of delivery documentation and records.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and safe work practices.
• Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules.
• English speaking, reading and writing required.
• Able to pass Federal background checks for access to certain facilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck on local and regional routes.
• Basic hand tool usage and assembly skills.
• Pick up and deliver products according to routes and schedules.
• Load, unload and secure cargo to prevent damage.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Follow DOT regulations, company policies, and site requirements.
• Maintain delivery records, receipts and inspection documents.
• Communicate with customers, dispatchers and leadership about deliveries and issues.
• Verify orders and quantities before completing deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle and workspace.
• Assist with warehouse or loading duties when required.
