Job summary

Worthington Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Local Delivery Driver to safely transport goods in the tri‑state area from our Elgen facility using an anon‑CDL, DOT‑regulated box truck. You will load, deliver, document, and interact professionally with customers to meet delivery requirements.

Responsibilities include DVIRs, DOT compliance, and strong navigation. The role requires flexibility for weeknights, weekends and holidays, plus the stamina for long shifts and manual tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid non-CDL driver's license with clean record and ability to meet DOT qualifications.
• Non-CDL position; CDL not required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
• Ability to pass DOT‑required drug and alcohol testing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven delivery driver or similar experience, preferably with box truck experience.
• Excellent navigational skills and knowledge of local roads.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weeknights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina for long hours of driving and manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods using on‑CDL, DOT‑regulated box trucks to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo ensuring items are not damaged.
• Maintain delivery records, receipts, driver logs and DVIRs as required.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional client interactions.
• Perform routine pre‑ and post‑ trip inspections and vehicle maintenance.
