Job summary

Mutual Trading INC is hiring a Box Truck Driver (18ft-26ft) to deliver perishable and nonperishable goods with a company vehicle. You will handle deliveries, interact with customers, and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate loads and timely arrivals.

The role requires a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass drug and medical exams. It includes daily routes, adherence to safety training, and strict loading/unloading procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess valid State Driver's license and driving record free of infractions.
• Pass drug, alcohol test and medical examination.
• Valid DOT qualification preferred.
• 6+ months of 16 ft or 18 ft commercial truck driving experience required.
• Manual transmission experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to perform basic math and drive safely in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Maintain good communications with Associates and Management throughout the organization.
• Perform other projects/assignments as designated by Warehouse Manager.
• Maintain vehicle documentation (license, registration, insurance).
• Report any parking or moving tickets to supervisor the same day.
• Take driver safety training yearly.
• Document accidents with photos and reports and report to supervisor immediately.
• Use vehicle only for authorized company business.
• Keep vehicle clean, safe, and organized; follow service recommendations.
• Ensure orders are loaded and secured for delivery.
• Obey traffic regulations and report incidents.
• Make timely and efficient deliveries.
• Ensure all payments are paid in full.
• Maintain a safe work environment and sanitize surfaces per QA standards.
• Keep work area free of debris and spills.
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers.
• Follow HAZCOM program and label instructions for chemicals.
• Operate and report issues with equipment; stand for entire shift as required.
• Maintain driver logs per hours-of-service rules (HOS).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
