Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Box Truck Driver to safely operate a box truck on local and regional routes, loading and delivering goods with professional service. You will complete required delivery documentation and communicate with dispatchers and customers while maintaining a clean, organized vehicle.

The role requires a valid driver's license, reliable driving history, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. English proficiency and willingness to work overtime are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Previous box truck, delivery, or commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to read maps, use navigation tools, and maintain geographic awareness.
• Ability to accurately complete delivery documentation and records.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; overtime may be required.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Must pass Federal background checks for access to Government facilities.
• Physical ability to enter/exit vehicle and lift up to 75 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck on local and regional routes.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent shifting or damage.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
• Deliver to customers in homes or businesses with professional service.
• Communicate delivery status and issues to dispatch and leadership.
• Assist with warehouse or loading duties when required.
