Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Box Truck Driver to safely operate a box truck on local routes, loading, delivering to customers, and providing professional service. You will assist with loading/unloading, verify orders, and maintain accurate delivery records for each stop.

Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, coordinating with dispatch, and complying with DOT regulations and safety policies. Overtime and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (REAL ID) with acceptable driving record.
• Prior box truck, delivery, or commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to read maps and use navigation tools.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work safely and independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck on local/regional routes and deliver to customers.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo; assist with loading duties when required.
• Complete delivery documentation and maintain records for each stop.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff regarding deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report any issues.
• Adhere to DOT regulations, safety policies, and company procedures.
