About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Agency Development Manager (Acquisition) to join our Local Ads team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and establishing relationships with local and regional advertising agencies to drive adoption of Amazon Ads solutions. This is a hunting role where you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and initiating partnerships to drive adoption of Amazon Ads solutions. You will play a crucial role in expanding our reach within the local agency ecosystem. You will act as a strategic partner, providing insights and guidance to help agencies achieve their marketing objectives.





Qualifications:
* 3+ years of advertising sales experience, with a focus on prospecting Local digital media and agency partnerships.
* 5+ years of experience in the advertising industry, with a deep understanding of video advertising, AdTech, and programmatic solutions.
* Experience in Streaming TV sales.
* Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
* Experience with sales CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
* Ability to travel up to 50%.



Key job responsibilities

* Proactively identify and prospect new local and regional advertising agencies through various methods (e.g., research, networking, referrals).
* Qualify potential agency partners based on their business needs and alignment with Amazon Ads offerings.
* Conduct introductory meetings and presentations to educate agencies on the value proposition of Amazon Ads.
* Develop and execute strategic plans to drive agency adoption of Amazon Ads solutions.
* Act as a strategic consultant, providing insights and recommendations to help agencies meet their clients' marketing objectives.
* Maintain a deep understanding of the local advertising landscape and identify opportunities for growth.
* Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product) to deliver comprehensive solutions to agencies.
* Manage and track agency performance against key metrics.
* Maintain consistent messaging and delivery of new Amazon Ads narratives, particularly for STV/Video products.- 3+ years of B2B sales experience
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience in account management and selling of digital media- Experience consistently closing sales and generating revenues
- Experience of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $80,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $171,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
