Responsibilities

Related’s Luxury Building, The Cortland, is seeking a Lobby / Package Attendant to join their team. Responsibilities include:

• Opens the entrance door for residents and guests.
• Greets residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Guides guests and vendors to the Concierge desk.
• Ensures that the area near the door is free of unauthorized individuals and is kept clean and orderly.
• Keeps the building entrance clear of snow when necessary.
• Keeps the lobby windows clean.
• Dusts and mops the lobby floor as needed.
• Monitors the building’s arrivals and departures.
• Hails taxicabs upon request for residents and guests and opens car doors as needed.
• Assists with luggage and packages as necessary.
• Maintains lobby cleanliness and order.
• Relieves the Concierge for breaks or during absences.
• Assists the Concierge with signing in deliveries, announcing guests, handling mail and packages, and other resident/guest services as appropriate.

Schedule

Off days: Sundays and Tuesdays.

Work hours: Wednesday to Saturday, 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in hotel, hospitality, or service industries.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Yardi.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts on your feet.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and overtime.
