Job summary

Four Seasons Maui seeks an attentive Food Server Assistant to support the Food Server with delivering meals from the kitchen and handling guest requests. You will greet guests, help with table setup, and ensure a seamless dining experience in a luxury resort setting.

Ideal candidates bring at least one year of food & beverage service, tray handling ability, and knowledge of food tickets. Eligible applicants may hold Hawaii Food Handler and Maui ServSafe credentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year food & beverage service or related work.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Ability to accurately read food tickets and communicate orders with the kitchen and servers.
• Hawaii Food Handler Card
• Maui Liquor Card ServSafe (within 3 months)
• Tuberculosis Clearance

Responsibilities

• Inspect and deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in clearing, cleaning and set‑up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service; greet guests according to Four Seasons Standards to ensure superior service.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.

About the role

• Full time
• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
