Katz Coffee in Houston seeks a friendly, hospitality-driven lobby barista to greet guests, dial in espresso, and lead coffee education sessions. You will support tastings, present products, and ensure the lobby runs smoothly from morning through the day.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in barista or hospitality roles, strong communication and presentation skills, and a passion for specialty coffee and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Must have hospitality mindset and ability to educate guests about coffee
• Experience in barista, hospitality, or restaurant settings is valued
• Strong communication and storytelling skills to educate clients and visitors

Responsabilités

• Calibrate espresso to ensure consistent quality
• Prepare beverages for guests
• Fulfill lobby retail orders for whole bean sales
• Maintain inventory of coffee and merchandise
• Receive deliveries and restock shelves
• Prepare materials for client presentations in training room
• Assist roaster with roasting and packaging sample batches
• Lead coffee education sessions and tastings for clients and visitors
• Answer questions about coffees, sourcing, and sustainability
• Educate public about offerings and act as brand ambassador
• Curate lobby menu with roasting and sales teams
• Keep lobby clean, welcoming, and on-brand
