Rustika Cafe & Bakery Katy is seeking a warm, energetic Barista & Guest Services team member to be the heart of our guest experience. You’ll craft delicious beverages and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests returning.

Join a fast-paced cafe near Houston with a friendly team. You’ll handle orders at the POS, help guests with menu items, keep the café tidy, and support daily operations while delivering outstanding hospitality.

Qualifications

• Previous barista and customer service experience required.
• Excellent communication and guest-first attitude.
• Able to stand long periods in a fast-paced cafe.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Comfort with cash handling and basic math.
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, espresso beverages, and other café menu items to order.
• Greet and assist guests with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and handle cash and card transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, counter, and equipment throughout the shift.
• Restock pastry cases, beverages, and supplies as needed to support smooth daily operations.
• Answer guest questions about menu items, ingredients, and bakery offerings.
• Collaborate with team members to manage rush periods and maintain efficient service flow.
