Job summary

White Lodging is seeking an experienced bartender to join our hotel bar team. You’ll craft cocktails, deliver guest experiences, and thrive in a high-energy, upscale bar environment.

The role requires a hospitality mindset with the ability to stand and work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior hotel/rooftop bar experience is a plus, and we offer benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience preferred across hotel, restaurant, or rooftop bars.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and mixology.
• Ability to stand and move quickly for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bar service to guests with friendly conversation and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station and perform daily side work per health standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, ingredients and garnishes; answer guest questions.
• Ensure consistent food and beverage quality and presentation.
• Process payments (cash, card, digital) and reconcile end-of-shift.
• Promote teamwork and a safe, positive work environment.
• Card guests and monitor responsible service to comply with liquor laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality bar service to all guests - building personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive drink recommendations, and a welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station; complete daily bar cleaning and side work to health and safety standards
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of the full cocktail menu, beer and wine selections, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes - confidently answering guest questions
• Ensure consistent food and beverage quality and presentation that meets guest expectations every time
• Accurately process all payment methods - cash, card, and digital - and complete end-of-shift reconciliation
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a safe, positive work environment
• Card all guests and monitor responsible alcohol service to prevent overservice and ensure liquor law compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned
