Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Lobby Ambassador in San Jose, CA to deliver outstanding customer service while safeguarding client premises. You will work 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in a full-time role across various industries, including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, performing access control checks, and responding to incidents with composure.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• HS diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while enforcing safety and security procedures and site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the client site and perimeter.
• Operate Access Control system to verify guest registration and reason for visit.
• Greet and assist employees, tenants, and guests at the lobby.
• Represent AUS professionally as the face of the client and company.

Pay Rate: $27.58 / Hour

Location: Lobby Ambassador - Aviation Company - San Jose, CA.

Schedule: Full Time, Morning Shifts, 6:00 Am - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday

As a Lobby Ambassador, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The Lobby Ambassador’s primary duty is to provide the tenants and guests of AUS’ client with superior customer service, and the ability to understand and meet their needs and assist them with a multitude of tasks. Additionally, the Lobby Ambassador will perform post specific security duties to ensure the client’s tenants and guests have a positive and efficient experience during entry and exit of the building.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Operate Access Control system to verify guest registration, reason for visit, check and log identification
• Serve as the first point of contact when an employee, tenant, or guest enters the lobby, ensuring a positive and efficient experience.
• Serve as the face of the customer, as well as AUS, by graciously greeting and attending to employees/visitors/tenants

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
