Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Lobby Ambassador in San Jose, CA. This full-time role involves providing exceptional customer service, performing security duties, and ensuring a positive entry and exit experience for tenants and guests at the client site.

You will conduct access control checks, respond to incidents, and perform patrols while collaborating with a variety of industries served by AUS. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, professionalism, and customer-centric service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ (21+ for armed) and have a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and promptly.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and perimeter.
• Operate Access Control to verify guest registration and reason for visit.
• Greet and assist employees, tenants and visitors entering the lobby.
• Serve as the face of AUS by attentively assisting clients.

Pay Rate: $27.58 / Hour

Location: Lobby Ambassador - Aviation Company - San Jose, CA.

Schedule: Full Time, Morning Shifts, 6:00 Am - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday

As a Lobby Ambassador, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The Lobby Ambassador’s primary duty is to provide the tenants and guests of AUS’ client with superior customer service, and the ability to understand and meet their needs and assist them with a multitude of tasks. Additionally, the Lobby Ambassador will perform post specific security duties to ensure the client’s tenants and guests have a positive and efficient experience during entry and exit of the building.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site‑specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Operate Access Control system to verify guest registration, reason for visit, check and log identification
• Serve as the first point of contact when an employee, tenant, or guest enters the lobby, ensuring a positive and efficient experience.
• Serve as the face of the customer, as well as AUS, by graciously greeting and attending to employees/visitors/tenants

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universalwill consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
