This remote role requires attention to detail and strong customer service skills to ensure compliance with plan rules and IRS regulations. The successful candidate will process loan requests, review documentation, respond to inquiries, and maintain accurate records while meeting service-level agreements.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in retirement services, financial services, benefits administration, or related field.
• Knowledge of 401(k), 403(b), or other qualified retirement plans is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process retirement plan loan requests, hardship withdrawals, in-service distributions, and rollover transactions.
• Review participant documentation for completeness and compliance with plan guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to participant, employer, and advisor inquiries regarding loan and distribution options, processing requirements, and transaction status.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within internal systems.
• Ensure transactions are completed within established service-level agreements and quality standards.
• Research and resolve participant issues, discrepancies, and escalated cases.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient processing and issue resolution.
• Stay current on retirement plan regulations, policies, and industry best practices.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and special projects as needed.
