CIBC US is seeking a seasoned Loan Syndications Sales and Origination Director/Executive Director to support the Commercial and Industrial line by originating syndicated transactions and managing co-lender relationships. The role involves geography/industry coverage with P&L responsibility and a hybrid work model (1-3 days on-site).
You will build external brand awareness in the syndication market and work alongside Portfolio Managers and Underwriters to optimize coverage and revenue generation.

Reporting to the Co-Head of Loan Syndications, the Loan Syndications Sales and Origination Director or Executive Director will be responsible for supporting the Commercial and Industrial Line of business in originating new CIBC led syndicated transactions. This professional will have specific coverage areas (geography or industry) as well as P&L responsibility within the group. Additionally, this professional will also be responsible for cultivating and maintaining co-lender relationships.
You will have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $185,000.00 - $215,000.00 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
