Job Overview - Loan Servicing Specialist
Compensation: $75,000-$85,000/year + bonus
Location: Delaware County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)

Atlantic Group is hiring a Loan Servicing Specialist in Delaware County, PA for our client. This role supports loan servicing operations with a focus on default management, claims administration, account review, and related financial processes. The Loan Servicing Specialist will review account activity, maintain accurate documentation, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and assist with the resolution of servicing and default-related matters. The ideal candidate has experience in loan servicing, default management, claims, or related financial services operations, along with strong analytical and Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities as the Loan Servicing Specialist:
  • Default Management: Review and process mortgage default reporting and monthly servicing updates while following up on missing or incomplete information.
  • Claims Processing: Review mortgage insurance claims, obtain required documentation, and support accurate and timely claim processing and payments.
  • Property Management: Assist with real estate-owned property activities, including vendor coordination, insurance, property documentation, marketing, and closing support.
  • Valuation Support: Coordinate property valuations, appraisals, and related documentation while supporting invoice processing and loss analysis.
  • Servicer Support: Respond to inquiries from mortgage servicers, internal stakeholders, and other business partners regarding claims, defaults, and loss management matters.
  • Process Improvement: Support system enhancements, reporting initiatives, and improvements to loss management processes and procedures.
Qualifications for the Loan Servicing Specialist:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience within mortgage servicing, mortgage insurance, or a closely related mortgage industry function is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of mortgage servicing, mortgage insurance, defaults, claims, or related loss management processes is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and related business systems is required.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to review financial and servicing information accurately are required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, customer service, and collaboration skills are required.
