Job summary

State Bank is seeking a detail‑oriented Loan Servicing Clerk to manage consumer, commercial, agricultural and SBA loan files. You will coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate servicing, payoffs, and status updates, while delivering strong customer interactions.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and about one year of loan processing/servicing experience, with proficiency in Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year experience with consumer or commercial loan processing or loan servicing preferred.
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics; strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Perform primary or back‑up duties for loan processing, servicing, and payoffs for consumer, commercial, agricultural, and SBA loans.
• Coordinate tasks within the unit and with other departments; report information to supervisor; respond to inquiries from customers and internal associates.
• Maintain loan files and servicing records; monitor payments and reconciliations; assist with disbursements and system setup.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements; participate in risk management and safety practices.
