Citizens Bank of Kansas is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Servicing Specialist for its Derby Buckner (Kansas) branch. The role supports administration and servicing of the loan portfolio, working with retail, commercial, ag, and mortgage loans to ensure accurate boarding and ongoing servicing.

The ideal candidate has loan servicing experience, strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel), and a commitment to accuracy, high productivity, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in loan servicing/operations is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office—Outlook and Excel.
• High productivity with high standards of accuracy.

• Superior internal and external customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in second reviews on loan files to ensure loans are accurately boarded.
• Serve as internal point of contact for document imaging and related processes.
• Communicate with external service providers to update information for service files (PMI, insurance, taxing authorities).
• Monitor and mitigate loan file risk.
• Ensure proper insurance set-up on property and collateral; liaise with agents and loan officers.
• Review annual escrow analyses for residential real estate loans and respond to escrow questions; issue surplus checks.
• Partner with lending staff to improve accuracies and efficiencies; train loan assistants.
• Serve as a point of contact for loan servicing questions; research and refer to proper resource.
• Communicate effectively in written or oral form.
