Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a finance-focused analyst to monitor loan servicing data, perform data-driven analysis, and track performance across large portfolios.

You will develop servicer scorecards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks, collaborate with operations, finance, portfolio management, compliance, and IT, and drive automation with Power BI and SQL.

This role emphasizes data validation, reconciliation, trend analysis, and clear communication to support decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a finance-related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in commercial loan servicing, financial operations, or analytical finance.
• Experience working with large datasets, data validation, and reconciliation processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data modeling.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar data tools is a plus.
• Foundational understanding of commercial loan structures preferred.
• High attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and trends in complex data.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor adherence to loan servicing agreements through data-driven analysis and performance tracking.
• Support development of servicer scorecards, KPIs, and performance reporting using large datasets.
• Identify, document, and elevate servicing exceptions.
• Perform analytical reviews of daily, weekly, and monthly servicing activity across large loan portfolios.
• Lead and support monthly remittance reconciliation, including cash tie-outs, variance analysis, and waterfall validation.
• Analyze and validate large loan-level data files, including balances, rates, maturity dates, and payment histories.
• Review and reconcile servicing system outputs against internal records.
• Develop and maintain exception reports, trend analyses, and root-cause assessments.
• Partner with operations, finance, portfolio management, compliance, and IT teams.
• Support system migrations, data conversions, and onboarding of new servicers.
• Assist in building reporting frameworks, dashboards, and process automation tools.
• Document workflows and analytical methodologies.
