Job summary

Brio Real Estate is seeking an Associate, Servicer Oversight to monitor third-party loan servicers in BREDS. You will analyze large data files, validate remittance outputs, and support adherence to servicing agreements.

Collaborate with operations, finance, portfolio management, and IT to build dashboards, provide insights, and drive process improvements. Strong Excel, data validation, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial loan servicing, financial operations, or analytical finance role.
• Strong analytical skillset with experience working with large datasets, data validation, and reconciliation processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling); experience with Power BI/SQL is a plus.
• High attention to detail with ability to identify discrepancies and trends in complex data.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring adherence to loan servicing agreements through data-driven analysis and performance tracking.
• Develop servicer scorecards, KPIs, and performance reporting using large datasets.
• Identify, document, and escalate servicing exceptions, leveraging data to support issue resolution and remediation efforts.
• Perform detailed analytical reviews of daily, weekly, and monthly servicing activity across large loan portfolios.
• Lead and support monthly remittance reconciliation processes, including cash tie-outs, variance analysis, and waterfall validation.
• Analyse and validate large loan-level data files, ensuring accuracy across key fields such as balances, rates, maturity dates, and payment histories.
• Review and reconcile servicing system outputs against internal records to ensure data integrity.
• Develop and maintain exception reports, trend analyses, and root-cause assessments using large datasets.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver data-driven insights related to servicing performance.
• Support system migrations, data conversions, and onboarding of new servicers, including validation of large boarding datasets.
• Assist in building scalable reporting frameworks, dashboards, and process automation tools.
