Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a commercial real estate valuation specialist in Houston to support Portfolio Managers across multiple loan portfolios.

You will perform research and financial analysis of CRE properties, loans, and portfolios, and assist with data compilation for lender decisions. You will complete valuation reports, examine income-producing properties, analyze revenue/expenses, and project stabilized operating statements, while performing loan covenant testing and OSAR‑related reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience performing commercial real estate valuation and analysis.
• Ability to compile data for lender decisions and present analyses for investment, surveillance, and risk management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare clear valuation reports.

About The Role:

Responsible for performing commercial real estate valuation services and general support functions for Portfolio Managers in the servicing of multiple portfolios of commercial real estate loans. Conducts research and financial analysis of commercial real estate properties, loans and portfolios.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct research and financial analysis of commercial real estate properties, loans and portfolios. Assist with data compilation for lender decisions. Make presentation of analysis that will be used for investment, surveillance and risk management related decisions.
• Complete valuation reports with analytical guidance from the Portfolio Manager. Prepare and complete analysis and research for properties assigned to a valuation report.
• Examine and analyze simple income-producing properties and prepare an analysis based on market comparisons.
• Analyze past revenue and expense performance and project a stabilized operating statement.
• Perform loan covenant testing on assigned loans (DSCR, Debt Yield, Net Worth/Liquidity and others).
• Complete and approve annual and quarterly Operating Statement Analysis Reports (OSAR).
• Assist Portfolio Managers by performing tasks involved in monitoring the performance of assigned commercial real estate loan portfolios.
• Provide exemplary customer service to clients and related contacts.
• Prepare various monthly and quarterly reports for portfolios as requested by the client.
