Continuing along it highly successful growth trajectory, San Francisci Federal is seeking a Loan Processor Specialist for our Golden Gate Branch in San Francisco.The PositionThe Loan Processor plays a critical role in supporting San Francisco Federal Credit Union’s (SFFedCU)consumer lending operations through the accurate and timely processing, funding, and administration ofloans. This position provides cross-functional support for the GoGreen and HomeSolutions programswithin Home Lending Solutions, as well as the ongoing management and growth of the Indirect Auto loanportfolio. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, program guidelines, and internalcontrols while delivering an exceptional experience for members and business partners.With a strong technical and operational focus, the Loan Processor works across multiple lending systems tomanage loan pipelines, funding activities, processing queues, and issue resolution. The positioncollaborates with members, contractors, dealers, vendors, and internal teams to support efficient loanorigination and portfolio administration, while contributing to process improvements, programenhancements, cross-selling opportunities, and overall operational excellence.Essential Functions and Responsibilities• Review, verify, and process consumer loan applications for GoGreen, HomeSolutions, and IndirectAuto lending programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.• Monitor and manage loan pipelines, digital lending workflows, processing queues, servicinginboxes, and funding activities to meet established service level agreements (SLAs) and productiongoals.• Provide professional phone and email support to members, contractors, merchants, dealers, andinternal partners, including handling escalated inquiries and gathering required loandocumentation and information.• Collaborate with underwriters, lending staff, merchants, dealers, and business partners to resolveapplication issues, satisfy loan conditions, and facilitate timely loan funding and portfolioadministration.• Maintain strong working relationships with Home Lending Solutions merchants, GoGreen programpartners, and indirect auto dealers to support program performance, service excellence, andportfolio growth.• Serve as a liaison between members and external partners, ensuring a seamless lendingexperience and high levels of member and partner satisfaction.• Identify member financial needs and support cross-selling opportunities by educating members onappropriate Credit Union products and services.• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, program requirements, Credit Union policies,privacy standards, and member confidentiality guidelines.• Leverage lending systems, reports, and operational tools to identify process improvements,support data integrity, and enhance operational efficiency.• Support the enhancement, and ongoing administration of Home Lending Solutions and ConsumerLending programs, products, and initiatives.• Participate in business development activities, community engagement events, trainingopportunities, and continuous improvement efforts to support departmental and organizationalgoals.• Perform other duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.Who Are You?Qualifications• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a consumer lending environment, including loanprocessing, boarding, funding, and servicing activities.• Knowledge of MeridianLink, LoanStar, Corelation KeyStone, or similar loan origination and coreprocessing systems preferred but not required.• Strong knowledge of consumer lending practices, loan documentation requirements, andregulatory compliance standards.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionallyand effectively with members, contractors, merchants, dealers, and colleagues at all levels.• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a demonstrated commitment todelivering exceptional member and partner service.• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgmentin a fast-paced environment.• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needswhile maintaining a high degree of accuracy.• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneNote.• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to process detailedinformation and follow established procedures and guidelines.• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to operational efficiencyinitiatives.• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, quality, and compliance.• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold Credit Union policies, privacy standards, andmember information security requirements.Why You’ll Love It HereYou’ll work alongside a passionate team in a mission-driven organization, get exposure to executive decision-making, and grow your skills across a broad range of functions.
