Job summary

Park State Bank in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Loan Processor to join the Credit Administration team. You will prepare and review loan documentation for consumer and commercial loans, coordinate collateral, and ensure accuracy and compliance throughout closing and post-closing processes.

You will leverage AI-assisted tools and standard bank procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service quality while maintaining confidentiality and security of client information.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years banking, lending, loan processing, or related financial services experience or associate degree in business, finance, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with AI-assisted productivity tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review loan documentation for consumer and commercial loan originations, renewals, and modifications, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization prior to client signature.
• Coordinate required loan and collateral documentation, including flood determinations, title work, UCC searches, and other third-party services.
• Upload loans to the core system and process loan proceeds through checks, wire transfers, and deposits to Bank accounts.
• Perfect and maintain security interests in collateral by completing lien, UCC, title, and related docs; track collateral and post-closing items.
• Maintain complete loan records and logs, imaging and record retention, and supporting docs.
• Communicate with lenders, internal teams, participating institutions, and others to address documentation needs and processing questions.
• Use technology and AI-assisted tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, confidentiality, and workflow with proper review.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in loan processing workflows and technology usage.
