Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent.
• Two years of specialized secretarial training or equivalent experience.
• Able to perform duties under moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and checks basic loan papers including applications, supporting papers, commitments, and closing papers. Processes loans daily, checking accounting accuracy and adherence to policy and procedures. May close loans and disburse proceeds to borrowers.
• Ensures that existing and potential member/borrowers receive prompt, courteous service, and provides general information as to policies and procedures.
• Assists in posting and depositing incoming payments, including all necessary accounting reports and disbursement of loan funds.
• Completes routine secretarial duties such as scheduling, typing, filing, organizing, and handling association correspondence; assists in preparation of required branch office reports.
• Assists in ensuring that required collateral insurance, current financing statements, and other required time‑critical items are properly maintained.
• Other miscellaneous duties related to the overall function of the Association.
