Job summary

ADP is seeking a dedicated Loan Processor in Missouri to review loan applications for completeness and compliance, order appraisals, prepare closing documents, and manage loan files. The role involves communicating with customers about loan details, and ensuring accurate calculations of payments and closing costs.

The position requires a High School diploma, basic computer skills, and preferably prior loan processing or teller experience.

Responsibilities

• Review loan application files for completeness and compliance.
• Prepare and send adverse action notices.
• Initiate title insurance and appraisal orders.
• Prepare loan documents and closing paperwork.
• Assemble documents for loan closings and record keeping.
• Calculate and verify interest, payments, and closing costs.
• Explain loan details and answer customer questions.
• Track status of loans and maintain files.

Loan Processor

• Review loan application files to verify that application data is complete and meets establishment compliance standards.
• Type and mail adverse action notices to applicants.
• Initiate title insurance and appraisal orders.
• Prepare and type loan applications, closing documents, legal documents, letters, forms, and checks using computer system.
• Assemble and compile documents for loan closings, such as title insurance, insurance forms, loan forms, and tax receipts.
• File and maintain loan records.
• Calculate, review, and correct errors on interest, principal, payment, and closing costs.
• Answer questions and advise customers regarding loans and transactions.
• Track status of loans.
• Ensure security of collateral by filing & renewing appropriate Deeds of Trust, Deeds of Release, UCC's, and Notice of Liens.
• Work with insurance companies to ensure protection against loss of collateral.
• Prepare cash flow projections as directed by loan officer.
• Process rate change notifications.
• Process loan payments.
• Load new loans and loan maintenance in Computer System.
• Prepare loan modifications as directed by loan officer.
• Check loan maintenance, as required.
• Monitor paid off loans, processing releases accordingly.
• Process past due notices and distribute to loan officers.

Qualifications and Skills:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Basic computer skills.

Prior loan processing and bank teller experience preferred.
