Job summary

Central-Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Loan Administrator in Muscatine, IA to support loan processing, servicing, and reporting.

You will interface between loan officers, credit administration, and other departments to ensure timely origination and accurate maintenance of the loan portfolio. Responsibilities include processing new loans, renewals, and modifications, handling title work and lien releases, and preparing reports with vendors.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred or 3+ years related experience.
• Proficient in computer operations including mainframe systems and MS Office.
• Strong math skills: interest calculation, percentages, ratios and balancing accounts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to document and report.
• Well-organized with ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle complex problems with multiple variables.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation if required.

Responsibilities

• Interface between loan officers and credit administration to assist in processing and servicing.
• Book and disburse new loans, renewals, and modifications in the core system.
• Prepare title and mortgage documents and release liens as needed.
• Prepare daily/monthly settlement reports with external vendors.
• Maintain escrow accounts and analyze taxes and insurance payments.
• Manage loan files and ensure proper documentation is obtained.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and in person.
• Support skip-a-pay campaigns and other special offers.
