Job summary

Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group seeks a Third Party Processing Coordinator to manage front-line quality initiatives for the loan processing team. The role analyzes monthly quality reports to ensure efficient, timely processing and trains loan processors to comply with internal policies.

The position also communicates with customers to obtain documents, orders title work and other third-party items, and submits loans to underwriting. Occasional travel may be required to train staff nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least two years of loan processing experience in mortgage banking.
• At least one year of experience in a process training capacity.
• Prior experience with Encompass.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently on multiple files.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze monthly loan processing quality reports.
• Obtain missing documentation and/or corrections as necessary.
• Facilitate monthly processing conference calls.
• Train new and current loan processors nationwide.
• Travel to train new loan processors as needed.
• Effectively communicate processing updates throughout the company.
• Address the Branch Support helpline.
• Stay abreast of company policy, mortgage regulations, laws, and industry best practices; train accordingly.
• Partner with department managers to sustain loan processing quality.
• Address processing related Zendesk tickets.
• Assist with TQL services 4506 T/Flood.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
