Job summary

Nbt Texas is seeking a Loan Operations Specialist to support consumer and commercial lending processes, including document preparation, collateral tracking, imaging, and closing coordination. You will prepare loan documents, ensure compliance with bank policy and regulations, and maintain accurate loan files while delivering strong customer service and coordinating with internal teams for timely funding.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial loan processing or loan operations
• Knowledge of compliance, state and federally regulated lending laws
• Knowledge of loan documentation requirements for all types of loans
• Experience in mortgage loan processing and consumer lending a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate loan and security documentation for new and renewed commercial loans in a timely manner.
• Input/scan new and renewal loan documents and supporting documentation into Image Centre.
• Monitor collateral insurance, including general liability, hazard, and flood insurance, and force placing uninsured or underinsured coverage.
• Verify loan funding sheet information in Horizon, and fund loans.
• Prepare loan, security, and disclosure documents for all non-real estate loans in FIS FLO.
• Work with title companies and/or attorney’s office for loan documentation and closing; pull documents to support loan requests.
• Complete training annually and adhere to BSA regulations; assist in customer due diligence and SAR as needed.
• Greets customers and answers phone; process loan panets and advances on lines of credit.
• Maintain and organize new commercial loan files; assist with audits for accuracy.
• Board loans in a timely manner and notify management of delays; perform file maintenance.
• Provide loan payoff quotes, process paid loans, and prepare release of liens.
• Assist with post-closing lien perfection and related filings.
