Job Title: Commercial Operations Relationship Associate I
This is an onsite position at our San Antonio office.
Summary:
The Commercial Operations Relationship Associate I at TransPecos Banks plays a crucial role within the loan operations department. This position is responsible for supporting the entire loan lifecycle for commercial loans, as well as performing various administrative tasks to support the Bank's operations. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless loan management and exceptional customer service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Loan Application Management:
- Assist borrowers in completing loan applications and gathering necessary financial documentation.
- Ensure all required information is accurately collected and submitted for review.
- Loan Processing:
- Review and verify borrower information, including business formation and financial documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of loan applications.
- Loan Closing:
- Prepare and organize loan closing documents, including promissory notes and security agreements.
- Coordinate with legal counsel on loan documentation.
- Facilitate the disbursement of loan funds to borrowers upon successful closing.
- Loan Servicing:
- Manage loan accounts by assisting with payments, maintaining records, and providing customer service.
- Address any issues that arise during the loan term, such as late payments or changes in borrower circumstances.
- Repayment Monitoring:
- Track and monitor borrower payments to ensure adherence to the repayment schedule.
- Review loan balances and provide regular reports to management.
- Provide borrowers with confirmation of loan payoff and account closure. Release of any collateral held as security.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Perform general administrative duties to support the loan operations department.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all loan transactions and related documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for management.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Key Deliverables:
- Assist borrowers with applications, ensure accurate documentation, and facilitate timely processing and closing of loans.
- Manage loan accounts, monitor repayments, address borrower issues, and finalize loan closures.
- Perform administrative tasks, maintain organized records, prepare reports, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field.
Required Knowledge/Skills:
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Keyboard 35 wpm accurately, 10 Key, PC proficiency.
- Proficient in MS Office Products.
- Strong skills in MS Excel.
- Strong mathematical skills.
Desired Experiences:
- Previous experience in loan operations, loan processing, or a related financial services role.
- Previous experience with SBA and/or USDA loans.
- Familiarity with loan documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Commercial Loan Processing Experience.
- 2 - 3 Years banking or financial services experience.
