Job Description:
We are seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. In this role, you will work with clients to understand their financial needs and provide expert guidance in selecting the right mortgage products. You will manage the loan process from start to finish, helping clients navigate the complexities of securing home financing. Your responsibilities will include prospecting for new business, client consultations, loan application processing, financial analysis, and ensuring that all aspects of the loan meet regulatory requirements. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to assess their financial situation and recommend appropriate mortgage solutions.
  • Advise clients on various loan products, including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, NonQM, and many more.
  • Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and collecting the necessary documentation, such as income verification, credit reports, and asset statements.
  • Analyze credit and financial information to determine loan eligibility and terms.
  • Provide pre-approvals and pre-qualification letters to clients and ensure smooth loan processing from application through closing.
  • Collaborate with your designated processor, underwriters, appraisers, and other professionals to ensure timely and accurate processing of loans.
  • Ensure full compliance with state and federal mortgage regulations and company policies.
  • Prospect for, and maintain, ongoing relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other professionals to facilitate business opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions, concerns, and needs throughout the loan process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, mortgage products, and regulations to provide accurate and informed advice to clients.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage lending, loan origination, or a related field preferred.
  • Active DRE and MLO licenses in California.
  • Proven sales experience with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • High level of attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple loans and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of mortgage software and systems is a plus, or willingness to learn.

Compensation:

100% Commission Only.
