Job description

We’re hiring a Loan Partner

Join our team as a Loan Partner, working directly alongside our loan origination staff to assist applicants through the mortgage loan process. Your responsibilities will include preparing paperwork, managing pre-approved loan files, and supporting various loan programs such as calculating income, running credit, DU/LP, and occasionally selling loan packages.

This is not a remote position. It is a hybrid role, requiring you to work in the South Tampa office 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Loan officer or underwriting experience
  • Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000 base, plus bonuses of $10,000 - $15,000
Responsibilities
  1. Screen calls, book appointments, and provide administrative support
  2. Verify all loan documentation for accuracy and completeness, reporting discrepancies
  3. Prepare documentation for verifications and underwriting, including credit reports and mortgage paperwork
  4. Serve as the primary contact for clients, scheduling and conducting meetings
  5. Follow up on inquiries to ensure superior customer service
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of professional office experience, preferably as a loan officer or mortgage assistant
  • Degree in banking, finance, or equivalent; high school diploma required
  • NMLS license or training preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software is a plus
  • Understanding of various loan products, including conventional, FHA, VA, adjustable/fixed, and commercial loans
Compensation

$60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
