About The Role

As a Loan Officer Assistant at Orchard, you will support our Loan Officers by preparing loan files, managing documents, communicating with clients and agents, and ensuring smooth pipeline progression. This role requires strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. You will help buyers navigate financing confidently.

This is a full-time, remote role (AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, MD, MI, NC, NV, TX, WA) reporting to the Mortgage Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

1. Support Loan Officers with leads and workflows
2. Prepare and review loan applications for completeness and compliance
3. Manage Orchard’s Equity Advance loan product, including financials and pre-approval
4. Serve as a point of contact for customers during the loan process
5. Coordinate with internal teams to meet close and contingency dates
6. Maintain accurate data in LOS and CRM systems
7. Communicate proactively with real estate agents, title companies, and third parties
8. Ensure excellent customer and partner experiences through professional communication

Qualifications

• NMLS Licensed, willing to get licensed in required states
• 2+ years in a support role such as loan officer assistant or processor
• Knowledge of purchase loan products (Conventional, FHA, VA)
• Ability to read credit reports
• Experience with LOS platforms like BytePro is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer-first mindset and attention to detail
• Proactive problem-solving skills
• Experience in fast-paced, collaborative environments
• High integrity and professionalism
