Job Overview

Pioneer Finance is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will guide clients through the loan application process and collect the necessary financials and documentation to build and complete the loan file. You will work closely with the Executive Team to secure loan approvals and, once approved, coordinate with attorneys, title agents, borrowers, and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth, efficient closing process.

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service with continuous follow-ups and updates on each loan application. They will also possess a strong understanding of financial services and be adept at negotiating terms to secure favorable loan agreements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze loan applications to determine eligibility based on company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Guide clients through the loan process, explaining terms, conditions, and collecting necessary documentation.
• Review all financial and loan documentation to ensure loan file is in compliance with standard practices.
• Negotiate loan terms with clients.
• Update Executive Team about active loan applications and coordinate timely loan approvals and closings.
• Collaborate with escrow officers, attorneys, and borrower to facilitate smooth transactions.
• Review contracts and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the loan lifecycle, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, management or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required.
• 5+ years of experience in loan processing and structuring is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience processing commercial loans is preferred.
• Strong understanding of loan processing and underwriting procedures.
• Ability to structure and navigate complex loan scenarios from application to closing.
• Excellent sales skills with the ability to effectively negotiate terms with clients.
• Proficient in contract review and management.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to assess financial documents accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
