West Capital Lending is seeking a self-driven Loan Officer to originate residential mortgage loans from application to closing. This 100% remote role focuses on serving clients in the Pittsburgh, PA market and surrounding areas, with a PA NMLS license mandatory.

You will manage the loan process, build strong client/referral relationships, and stay compliant with evolving lending guidelines while advancing your career in a growing, dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Active PA NMLS license required.
• 2+ years as Loan Officer or MLO preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products.
• Excellent communication and relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently in remote env.
• Proficient with LOS and digital documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans (Conventional, FHA, VA, Non-QM).
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, agents, and referrals.
• Guide borrowers through application and provide timely updates.
• Analyze borrower finances to recommend loan products.
• Ensure loan files comply with federal/state/investor requirements.
• Collaborate with processing and underwriting for timely closings.
• Stay updated on lending guidelines and market rates.

Compensation: Commission-based (competitive splits; optional base or draw depending on experience)

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Loan Officer to join our growing team. This is an in-office position, with a primary focus on serving clients in the Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate is self-driven, knowledgeable in residential lending, and comfortable managing the loan process from application through closing in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans, including Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM products
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and referral partners
• Guide borrowers through the loan application process and provide clear, timely communication
• Analyze borrower financials to recommend appropriate loan products
• Ensure all loan files meet federal, state, and investor compliance requirements
• Collaborate with processing and underwriting teams to ensure smooth and timely closings
• Stay up to date on lending guidelines, market trends, and interest rate changes

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Loan Originator license (NMLS) required
• 2+ years of experience as a Loan Officer or Mortgage Loan Originator preferred
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products and underwriting guidelines
• Excellent communication, sales, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Proficient with loan origination systems and digital documentation tools
