What You'll Do

Inspire Home Loans (a Century Communities, Inc. affiliated company) is seeking an experienced Loan Officer to join the team supporting our homebuilder in Texas. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining customer financing objectives, advising customers on product and pricing policies, and gathering required information. The Loan Officer will ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

Support our homebuilder in Texas by identifying, developing, and maintaining customer financing objectives, advising on policies, and gathering information. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and provide excellent customer service.

This position is remote, but candidates must reside in MI.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

1. Collect and analyze customer financial information to determine loan eligibility, in accordance with company policies and law.
2. Advise borrowers on risks and benefits of loan options.
3. Discuss available loan products suitable for the customer's circumstances.
4. Gather all necessary documentation for loan approval.
5. Communicate effectively with customers, sales, processing, underwriting, closing, title companies, and builders.
6. Lock the interest rate.
7. Manage personal production and ensure timely closings.
8. Meet or exceed company standards.
9. Provide professional and customer-focused service.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Have

• Thorough knowledge of loan types including Conventional, FHA, Jumbo, VA.
• Builder experience preferred.
• Proficiency with loan origination systems, Encompass preferred.
• Experience with AUS (LP, DU, GUS).
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• First-time homebuyer experience is a plus.
• Ability to handle a heavy workload with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Independent, reliable, detail-oriented, organized.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Your Education And Experience

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of loan origination experience, builder experience preferred.
• Active MI Mortgage Loan Officer license; willingness to obtain other state licenses.
