Role Description

Type: Full-Time | Location: Remote (U.S.-based) or (In office)

Overview:

Star Financial is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Loan Officer to join our growing remote team. In this role, you will work directly with clients—virtually or in person—to understand their financial needs, guide them through the loan application process, and ensure full compliance with all lending regulations. You’ll be supported by an in-house Processor, Underwriter and Marketing departments and an entire team allowing you to focus on relationship-building and client success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct consultations with clients to assess their financing needs
• Manage and oversee the loan application process with processor assistance
• Ensure compliance with federal and state lending guidelines
• Provide outstanding customer service throughout the loan lifecycle
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions, transactions, and documentation
• Guide clients through loan origination from initial inquiry to closing

Qualifications:

• Experience in loan origination, lending, or finance
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Prior experience in the mortgage industry is a plus but not required

Qualifications

• ACTIVE NMLS # CA / TX AND FL
• Familiarity with mortgage regulations and compliance
