Job summary

Citi in Tampa, FL is seeking a Loan Documents & Processing Associate Analyst. This developing role focuses on preparing and reviewing loan documentation, supporting a range of loan processing tasks, and ensuring accurate data entry within a complex operations environment.

You will interact with internal teams and external parties, apply policy knowledge, and advance process improvements while maintaining risk controls and compliance; 0-2 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years experience in loan operations or similar
• Understanding of loan processes, procedures, products and services
• General awareness of managing, preparing, and reviewing loan documentation
• Ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues
• Awareness of risk types, policies and controls and processes
• Compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhering to policies

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review loan documentation and support loan processing tasks
• Process and close loans in a complex loan operations environment
• Assist with day-to-day loan transactional processing including cash bookings, payments, reconciliations, GL entries, and calculations
• Interact with counterparties regarding positions and balances
• Support an expansive array of products and services while following procedures to resolve issues
• Recommend process improvements to management
• Design and analyze loan documentation reports to satisfy requirements
• Escalate and manage risks and control issues with transparency
• Ensure adherence to audit and control policies and timely handling of requests
